Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Thursday appealed to the agricultural graduates to bring a new revolution in the field of agriculture without looking for jobs. The 39th Graduation Ceremony of Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Agricultural University at Dapoli in Ratnagiri district was held in the remote presence of Governor and Chancellor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. Speaking on this occasion, he said, India has become not only self-sufficient in production of food grains, dairy products and fish products, but also as exporter. Governor Koshyari added that in the agricultural sector, natural agriculture, patents, geographical designations are opening up new avenues of prosperity for farmers. He said that ordinary farmers in India also have traditional knowledge of agriculture and the students should learn many things from them.<br />'' <br />'' At the convocation, a total of 2,087 graduates were awarded degrees, diplomas, post-graduates and Acharya degrees. Gold medals were awarded to the students who achieved special excellence at this time.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />
