Former state president of the Janata Dal Party and former MLA Sharad Ramgonda Patil passed away this morning at his residence in Kupwad of Sangli District in Maharashtra.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He was 81. Patil, a senior Samajwadi leader, was elected two times from the Miraj assembly constituency of the district in 1990 and 1995 on the Janata Dal ticket and later again from the Graduate Constituency to the State Legislature Council.</span><br />
