Maharashtra: Fadnavis demands death case of Mansukh Hiren should also be transferred to NIA

Maharashtra's opposition leader Devendra Fadnavis has demanded that the death case of Mansukh Hiren should also be transferred to NIA. Currently, the case is being investigated by Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS). He also alleged that it is not only failure of police dept. but the failure of the state government.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">On 25th of last month a vehicle laden with 20 gelatin sticks was found outside the house of industrialist Mukesh Ambani. Case was being investigated by the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police. Mansukh Hiren is said to be the owner of the car but on 5th of March he was found dead in Thane creek. On that day, Fadnavis demanded that the case should be transferred to NIA in Maharashtra Assembly. But the state government decided to transfer it to ATS. Later on 8th of March, the case of explosive was transferred to NIA by the Home Ministry. After investigation, NIA arrested Sachin Waze, an investigating officer of the case on 14th of March. Today, Maharashtra government has transferred Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh to Home guards.</span><br />
