Maharashtra: Eknath Shinde announces all 50 MLAs supporting him to vote in favour of NDA candidate Droupadi Murmu for Presidential polls

<span style="color: #222222;">Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde today announced that all the 50 MLAs supporting him will vote in favour of NDA candidate Droupadi Murmu for the Presidential polls. This includes 40 MLAs from Shiv Sena and 10 independents. Speaking to media persons in Mumbai this afternoon, Mr. Shinde said the BJP has nominated a tribal woman and the decision will help the tribal communities to become a part of mainstream culture.<br />''<br />''It is learnt that Mr. Deepak Kesarkar will represent the Shinde faction while Mr. Ashish Shelar will represent the BJP faction during a meeting with Murmu, when she visits Mumbai on Thursday. Meanwhile, talking about the flood situation in Maharashtra, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said he is in touch with district authorities, who are maintaining a high degree of alertness and trying to ensure that there is no loss of life. He also announced a compensation of five lakh rupees for those who have died due to lightning. </span><br />
