Maharashtra dairies hikes milk price upto 3 a litre

In Maharashtra, major dairies have raised milk prices from today from one to three rupees a litre. Two dairies – Gokul and Varana have said that they have increased their prices by up to three rupees a litre across the state. Mahananda Dairy, the state's apex milk co-operative body, has hiked the price by one rupee only and it will be restricted to the Mumbai region only.
