Maharashtra COVID-19 recovery rate stands at 94.34 per cent

<span style="color: #222222;">In Maharashtra, 2,854 new Covid-19 cases were reported yesterday, taking the cumulative total to 19,16,236. According to the state health department, 60 deaths were reported in the state taking the tally of deceased to 49,189. Case fatality rate in the state is 2.57 per cent.<br />'' <br />'' On the other hand, the health department data revealed that 1,526 patients were discharged taking the tally of such patients to 18,07,824. The current recovery rate in the state is 94.34 per cent. The active caseload in the state is 58,091.<br />'' <br />'' Out of 1,24,51,919 laboratory samples, 19,16,236 have been tested positive (15.39%) for COVID-19 until yesterday. Currently 4,64,121 people are in home quarantine and 3,704 people are in institutional quarantine.  The health department also informed that a survey of passengers from England is being conducted in Maharashtra after November 25 following the discovery of a genetically modified corona virus in England.<br />'' <br />'' According to s by the State Health department, as many as 16 passengers were found to be infected with corona. Of these four patients are from Nagpur, three each from Mumbai and Thane, two from Pune – two and one each from Nanded, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad and Raigad.<br />'' <br />''<br />''Health department officials informed that samples of patients who tested positive are being sent to NIV Pune to find out the genetic makeup.</span><br />
