Maharashtra continues to witness sharp increase in fresh Covid-19 cases since last few days. For the third day in a row the state has recorded over fifteen thousand new cases.According to State Health department 16,620 new cases were registred in the state today.With this the cumulative cases tally has reached to 23,14,413. 50 patients succumbed to the infection, with this, the total fatalities rose to 52,861.<br />'' <br />'' 8,861 patients were discharged today taking the total recoveries to 21,34,072. The recovery rate in the state is 92.21%.<br />'' <br />'' As of today, there are 1,26,231 active cases in the state.<br />
