<span style="color: #222222;">Maharashtra continues to be country's corona infection hotspot with constant rise in number of new cases in many Red Zones including Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nasik and Malegaon among others.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">While on the positive side, some of the districts including Wasim, Buldhana, Ratnagiri, Nanded and Latur are showing substantial decline in the Corona cases since last few days. With discharge of the only patient of COVID-19, Washim has become Corona-free district in the state.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Similarly, Ratnagiri district also noted no new cases of Corona since last few days and is now free from the infection as of now. While, in Buldhana district, as many as 14 patients from total 21 affected with COVID-19 were discharged after recovery. In these regions which fall in Orange and Green Zones, the District Administration has lowered the lockdown restrictions. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In Nanded district, which comes in the Green Zone, the Turmeric farming activities have taken a grip. In last few days, as many as five thousand sacks of turmeric are being sent at APMC market of the region.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, State Public Health Minister Rajesh Tope has informed that the state has undertaken more than one lakh COVID-19 tests in its 40 laboratories. The Minister further informed that these tests are proving greater help in treatment of the infection. He also said that the state has started testing people since January.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports, country's financial capital Mumbai is witnessing constant rise in the number of Corona affected patients. 168 patients tested positive with COVID-19 in Mumbai in last 24 hours. Till date ,4,447 Corona positive cases recorded in Mumbai. With 11 more people succumbing to the virus, the death toll in Mumbai has reached to 179.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, as per the State Home Department, a 57- year old constable in Mumbai died today due to Corona infection. The Home Department informed that as many as 96 police personnel including 15 police officers across Maharashtra affected with COVID-19. While, in another development in Hingoli district, six Jawans of State Reserve Police Force tested positive with Corona infection. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Malegaon town near Nasik has become the hotspot of Corona infection with constantly rising number of Corona patients. In last 12 hours, eight new cases of Novel Corona virus including two women were recorded in Malegaon. With this, total tally in Malegaon has reached to 124.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In Yawatmal district, 15 new cases of Corona positive patients were admitted in civic hospital today.
