Our Mumbai Correspondent reports that <b>t</b>he Chief Minister also said that communication mechanism would be strengthened based on how effective is the Maha-Net project.  Based on this he asked officials to follow up with Centre for availing funding for the Bharat Net as early as possible. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The CM also stressed on giving priority to take urgent steps for e-filing at Mantralaya and district level so that work at Government and administration level receives a fillip.  </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The CM was informed that Maha-Net project is being made functional in 12 thousand 537 village Panchayats while all the village Panchayats are being connected through Optical Fibre cable and there are 2496 village Panchayats which have been connected so far via internet. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Union Government has provided 1,110 crore rupees while state Government has given Rs. 934 crores rupees for this ambitious project. </span><br />
