<span style="color: #222222;">Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has decided to provide financial assistance to construction workers on the background of the strict lockdown which has been imposed in the state due to the outbreak of the second wave of COVID virus.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">   </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">As per this decision, the Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Boards has given orders to take action in this regard. As per the directions, the board has taken initiatives and within four days, @ Rs.1500/- each, Rs. 137.67 lakh has been transferred directly to the 9.17 lakh registered workers bank account. At present, Maharashtra is having 13 lakh total registered workers. Remaining workers will also benefit with the direct benefit transfer. Due to this action, a happy atmosphere is being witnessed among the workers, said Labour Minister Hasan Mushrif.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The board has also taken care of the health issues of the workers. Therefore; Free Health Check -up scheme has been introduced for the registered workers and so far 2 lakh 3 thousand workers had their health check-up.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">   </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">However, afternoon lunch and dinner is being distributed to the construction workers in Mumbai/ Navi Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Pune, Nagpur in the background of COVID-19 virus outbreak period. Therefore, Labor Minister Hasan Mushrif has appealed to the construction workers not to migrate to their states.</span><br />''  <br />
