Maharashtra CM stresses on need to treat maximum COVID-19 patients in timely manner

In Maharashtra, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray today coined the term chase the virus and stressed on the need to treat maximum patients in a timely manner and pay special attention to the elderly to break the chain of virus. He was speaking today through video conference while inaugurating ICU Department at a district hospital under the Mission Zero initiative by a religious institution in Ahmednagar district. <br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports that, Chief Minister Uddhav<span style="font-weight: bold;"><i><u> </u></i></span>Thackeray while speaking at the event organized by Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana laid emphasis on the need of people to come forward to fight the crisis said it is a matter of great pride that social organizations are coming forward and cooperating with the govt. <br />''<br />''He said people's representatives and social organizations have a big role to play in this. He expressed confidence that with the participation of people, Mission Zero would be a success and said that care should be taken not to increase the number of patients in rural areas. The Minister said  as  task force of doctors has been created in the district which has started its work. Health Minister Rajesh Tope who was also present at the event said the govt is strengthening the health service system under which 211 Corona testing laboratories have been set up in the state and so far over 21 lakh tests have been done.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, in another event Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari today said the current situation has created an atmosphere of depression and the students are also a victim of the same. He urged the teachers to guide the students in this challenging situation. He said the time has come now to change the mind set of 'Stay at home, Stay safe' to 'be careful and be cheerful'<br />
