<span style="color: #222222;">Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has refuted rumours claiming that Indian Army will be called in to take control of the state, especially Mumbai, where COVID-19 cases are highest in the country. In a video message, he added that the State Government will never take any decision without consulting or informing the people upfront and so citizens must not believe in rumours.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Thackeray has informed that the state is constantly working towards increasing capacity so that the medical infrastructure does not fall short under any circumstances. He said, besides arranging quarantine facilities at BKC, Worli Dome, Goregaon Exhibition Centre and other areas, the State Government has also sought permission from Central Government to have access to defence, railway and port hospitals. He said, additional doctors, if available, can ensure that the system is not too stressed and doctors can work in shifts.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Chief Minister further said, additional paramilitary forces will only be sought if the present force needs to be rested or is facing too much workload. Stating that one cannot live under the constant fear of Corona virus, the Chief Minister appealed everyone to follow lockdown norms. Talking about the Aurangabad train accident, in which 16 migrants lost their lives, Mr. Thackeray asked migrants not to lose patience. He assured migrants that each and every one of them will be sent back to their native place.
