<span style="color: #222222;">In view of rapid increase of Covid 19 cases in the state, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray today held a review meeting through video conferencing with the Divisional Commissioner, District Collector and Municipal Commissioners of the state. Mr Thackeray in the meeting said the only way to contain the disease is to find the patients and trace their recent contacts without any delay and emphasized on appointing a task force for the same in each district.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, doctors are very important members of the task force which has been effectively put to good use in Mumbai. He said now it is necessary to set up such a task force in every district or department as the number of patients is increasing. Mr Thackeray said it is important to increase the participation of senior doctors. He said suggestions coming from the Ministry of Health regarding treatment methods and medicines must also be adhered to as it has been proven in many cases that patients get better if they get the medicine on time.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">State Health Minister Rajesh Tope who was also present in the conference said since the rains have started there is a high chance of getting patients infected by other diseases too. He said the administration should be prepared for the same. He also said that doctors of Indian Medical Association in the districts should also be assisted in the task force. The meeting also specially reviewed the Covid situation in Mira Bhayander, Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad, Nashik, Dhule, Latur, Amravati, Aurangabad districts which are witnessing a rapid growth in numbers of infected patients. Initially, Principal Secretary Health Dr. Pradeep Vyas said that the number of days of doubling of patients has gone up from 21.3 to 23.1, recovery rate is 50.4 in the state compared to 53.8 in the country. He said the death rate has gone up from 3.7 to 4.8 per cent.</span><br />''
