Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Friday approved the first Good Governance Regulations of the country which aims to make the State administration more accountable, accessible, dynamic, and transparent.<br />''<br />''These regulations will also include the formation of a separate cell to take action on the effects of climate change.<br />''<br />''A statement issued by the Chief Minister's office said, the good governance manual will provide end-to-end online services to the citizens within stipulated time frames by expanding the scope of the 'Aaple Sarkar Seva Kendra' and citizens' grievances will be redressed at a faster speed.<br />''<br />''The Chief Minister had given the instructions to prepare good governance rules in the month of September last year.<br />''<br />''Accordingly, these regulations have been prepared after discussions with the ministerial officers, experts, and NGOs. In this, 161 department-wise indices have been prepared, on the basis of which the performance of good governance will be evaluated.<br />
