<span style="color: #222222;">Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray today announced that 25 crore rupees will be provided in the first phase for the development of Dajipur Sanctuary, which is part of the Radhanagari Wildlife Sanctuary in Kolhapur district. A meeting was held today at the Chief Minister's residence regarding development of Dajipur Sanctuary.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Chief Minister said priority should be given to create tourism facilities in order to provide employment to the local youth. He also directed that a plan regarding development of this sanctuary should be submitted immediately.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Thackeray said that priority should be given to repairing the historic elephant palace and starting elephant safaris, setting up a boating system at Radhanagari and creating tourist facilities at Rautwadi waterfall. He said the resort at the Dajipur Sanctuary should be repaired and upgraded through Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC).</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">State Minister of Tourism and Environment Aditya Thackeray, who was also present at the meeting, said that work was underway to upgrade the existing tourist resort at Dajipur Sanctuary through MTDC.
