Maharashtra CM and Deputy CM review disaster management preparedness in Gadchiroli district

In Maharashtra, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inspected the flood-like situation and reviewed the disaster management preparedness in the Gadchiroli district today. Chief Minister was briefed by senior officials from Nagpur Division on his arrival about the situation due to incessant rainfall in East Vidarbha.  While addressing the reporters at Nagpur Airport, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that all District Disaster Management Authorities along with NDRF, and SDRF have been kept ready to avoid any loss to man and materials due to the flood situation in the state.<br />'' <br />''Meanwhile, as a precautionary measure, Gadchiroli District Collector Sanjay Meena has issued orders to close all schools and colleges in the district from today till the 13th of July. He has directed that all canteen (hospitality) services, all private offices, private establishments and all shops will remain closed except for essential services.  <br />''<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Nagpur Regional Meteorological Centre has issued a Red alert for heavy rain for today and tomorrow in Gadchiroli and an Orange alert for Nagpur and Chandpur.</span><br />
