<span style="color: #222222;">Maharashtra Finance Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar tabled the first budget of Maha Vikas Aghadi Government in the state for the year 2020-21 in the Legislative Assembly today. The budget includes the total expenditure of 3,56,967 crore rupees and the revenue deficit of 9,510 crore rupees. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The budget is focused on the agriculture sector, irrigation, health, public transport, higher education, employment and security of women. Total provision of  22,000 crore rupees has been made to waive the outstanding amount of principle and interest of crop loan up to two lakh rupees to make the farmers debt-free. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Provision of 10,000 crore rupees has been made to complete the pending irrigation projects. New scheme of 10,000 crore rupees will be launched to provide five lakh solar pumps in next five years.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The budget also stresses on infrastructure development in the state by announcing two new schemes for road development. 40,000-kilometre road will be constructed under Rural Road Development Scheme and provision of 1,000 crore rupees has been made for Urban Road Development Scheme. Over 1,600 new luxurious buses will be purchased to replace the old buses in the State Road Transport Corporation with the allocation of 500 crore rupees. In addition, an allocation of 5,000 crore rupees for health services and that of 2,500 crore rupees for medical education have been made.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Finance Minister announced that Gender and Child budget will be tabled separately for the first time in the state. Special Green fund to combat Global Warming and Climate Change was announced and an outlay of  230 crore rupees is proposed for Environment Department. Apart from this, an allocation of 8,853 crore rupees is proposed for Tribal Development Department. MLA local fund will  also be increased from two to three crore rupees.</span><br />
