<span style="color: #222222;">In a bid to promote the Centre's Atma Nirbhar programme, the Maharashtra unit of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha has started the Atmanirbhar Bharat Guidance Centre.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Addressing the inaugural ceremony in Mumbai, BJP leader and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, the Rs. 20 lakh crore Atma Nirbhar package has been announced by the Narendra Modi government with the twin objectives.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He explained that the first objective was to reduce the distress caused by COVID-19 pandemic by helping the weaker sections get foodgrains and monetary support directly into their bank accounts.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The second objective is to develop a futuristic India, which is not only self-reliant but also a global manufacturing hub.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Lauding the Yuva Morcha for taking up this initiative, Mr. Fadnavis said, the Guidance Centre will build a bridge between people and the Centre.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, Maharashtra that was once on top for availing schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), has now fallen to a much lower rank.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The former Chief Minister urged the youth wing to build a connect with every citizen of the state and inform them about all schemes.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He asked the youth wing workers to contact street vendors so that they can take advantage of the PM SVANidhi scheme.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Fadnavis said that he was sure that the youth wing will reach out to more than their target number of one lakh youth, who can benefit from the Centre's schemes and help make AtmaNirbhar Bharat.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The event held in BJP's Mumbai office was attended by state BJP President Chandrakant Patil.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">BJP youth wing workers from many districts participated in the event through virtual medium.</span><br />''
