In Maharashtra, the Anti-terrorism Squad of Aurangabad and Nanded has arrested 31-year old diploma engineer Naser Bin Abubakar Yafai alias Chaus from Parbhani city for his alleged links with the Islamic State group. <br/><br/>With this arrest, the police are claimed to have foiled an attempt of sabotage in Maharashtra. Naser was presented yesterday in a special court in Aurangabad which remanded him in the police custody till 20th of July. <br/><br/>The ATS sources told that Naser is a IS supporter and in contact with the IS group through internet. After tracing his mobile and internet calls and surfing details, the ATS finally arrested Naser. <br/><br/>It was found during the probe that Naser was in contact with IS commander Farooq. <br/><br/>A case has been registered against Naser and Farooque in Kalachowki police station of Mumbai in connection with their plan for a terror attack in Maharashtra.<br/><br/>The ATS had seized a mobile, laptop and also found that he was preparing to take more youth with him, Naser had also planned to leave for Syria after executing an act of terror in Maharashtra.
