<span style="color: #222222;">Maharashtra is all set to join tomorrow's countrywide COVID vaccination dry run by checking the preparedness of its systems in over thirty districts and 25 municipal corporations. State Health Minister Rajesh Tope has informed that a dry run will be conducted at three healthcare centres in each district and one centre in municipal corporation limits. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Informing that adequate training has been conducted to ensure a smooth dry run, Mr. Tope said measures like hand wash facility, sanitizers, compulsory use of masks and maintaining social distancing as per COVID protocol have also been taken.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports, Mr. Tope has said that the dry run is important to assess how will the CO-WIN app work in real time and what SOPs are required to be followed before the implementation of the actual vaccination process. Hoping that a successful dry run will boost the morale of health workers, Mr. Tope said the State has already finished the job of creating User IDs for all vaccinators at district level. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said districts have been asked to identify 25 beneficiaries for tomorrow's dry run and accordingly prepare the mapping sheet in CO-WIN app. The healthcare centre will then have to send SMSes to beneficiaries informing them about the vaccination schedule, conduct vaccination and observe for any possible side effects. Most importantly, they will have to be in touch with cold storage units and inform about the daily requirement and use.</span><br />''
