<span style="color: #222222;">In Maharashtra, 222 villages in Nashik district have achieved the remarkable feat of 100 per cent COVID-19 vaccination. Nashik District Immunization Officer Dr. Kailas Bhoi said, while the district has completed 75 per cent vaccination of eligible citizens, 222 villages in the district has completed 100 per cent vaccination of people aged 18 years and above.<br />''<br />''The district has more than 52 lakh and 49 thousand people eligible for the jab out of which nearly 36 lakh and 82 thousand have been given the first dose while more than 14 lakh 88 thousand have been given the second dose. Nashik District Immunization Officer Dr. Kailas Bhoi said the vaccination campaign being implemented as per the orders of the Central Government has given fruitful result. The response to vaccination in Malegaon city which was earlier low is also gradually picking up after the clerics and other social organisations have come forward to explain about the importance of taking the vaccine. Bhoi said initially, 22 per cent population of the city got the dose which has now increased to 27 per cent. </span>
