On the other hand, Pune, Nagpur, Beed, Nashik, Ahmednagar, Satara and Solapur continue to remain an area of concern with a high number of new cases.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The number of active patients in the state has started to decline and currently stands at 5,58,996. Pune continues to top the chart with 95,731 active cases followed by Nagpur that has 53,020 active infections. Mumbai has 40,162 active patients while Thane has 31 thousand cases. Nashik, Ahmednagar, Solapur, Sangli, Satara and Chandrapur have an active caseload of over 20 thousand.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Maharashtra's recovery rate stands at  86.67 per cent while the case fatality rate stands at 1.49 per cent.
