In a big relief for Union Minister Narayan Rane, the Mahad Court granted bail to the BJP leader last night. Mr Rane was produced in the Mahad court after he was handed over to the Mahad police by the Ratnagiri police. Rane's counsel Aniket Nikam argued that since the minister made the statement on a public platform hence there is no need of  further investigation.<br />
