In Maharashtra, at the end of the third day of search operation NDRF teams and Local Volunteers have recovered total 22 bodies from Savitri River. <br/><br/>This river in Mahad town washed away a century-old British era bridge, taking with it two buses and few other vehicles on Tuesday night. Updated report from our correspondent.<br/><br/>NDRF teams recovered 8 more bodies today. 14 bodies were recovered yesterday. Out of total 22, 15 bodies have been identified. Today administration has released list of 38 missing persons. Search will continue to find out remaining 16 people.<br/><br/>Search teams have found some parts of vehicles on the distance of 3 Kilometres from the ill-fated bridge. It is not yet clear that whether they are of vehicles drowned in the river after the bridge collapse or not. Heavy Duty Crane was searching for missing Busses and Cars with the help of Magnet whole day today.<br/><br/>NDRF jawans have also laid fishing nets in the river to stop bodies flowing away with water current. Fish Finder equipment brought by Fishermen who offered there help was also used to search bodies in water. NDRF, Navy, Coast Guard Jawans and these fishermen were searching for bodies in 150 kilometres stretch of this river. <br/><br/>Search operation with the help of 16 Boats and 4 Helicopters was stopped after 6:30 in the evening but locals and jawans will be keeping strict vigil on the river overnight. They hope that some more bodies may come out during low tide in the night.
