Maharashtra Transport department will start delivering driving licences at the applicant's home from January with an intention to curb related malpractices.Principal Secretary of Transport Department C S Sangitrao said the proposal has been approved and people would get the driving licences on their residential addresses from next month. He said that the Government would also be amending the State Motor Vehicle Act to make the service mandatory for all regional transport offices. There would be a separate window across all the transport offices where people can pay and get the licence delivered at their doorstep.<br/>
