Maha Shivaratri is being celebrated with gaiety and religious fervour in Nepal. Our Kathmandu correspondent reports that thousands of devotees offering prayers at famous Pashupatinath temple.<br/><br/>Amid chants of Om Namah Shivaye and Shambhu Kathmandu is fully gripped in the festivity of Lord Shiva. Devotees are standing in long queues since early morning to worship Lord Pashupatinath. Hundreds of sadhus are also offering special prayers at the temple.<br/><br/>Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the festival. According to Pashupati Area Development Trust more than one million pilgrims including thousands from India are expected to visit Pashupatinath temple on the holy occasion of Maha Shivaratri.
