Maha Metro completes construction of Manish Nagar Railway Over Bridge

Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation's (Maha Metro) Nagpur Metro Project today completed construction of Manish Nagar Railway Over Bridge, which was considered to be technically very difficult. Maha Metro used bow-string girder-design and construction technology in the construction of ROB. For executing this engineering marvel, a mega block of four hours was taken by Indian Railways. During this block, Indian Railways offered its full support to Maha Metro.
''
''Maha Metro's Managing Director Dr. Brijesh Dixit expected that the newly constructed 64-metre long ROB would be open to the public from next month. Due to this ROB, the time duration to reach the Nagpur-based Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport via Wardha Road route from Manish Nagar and Besa area will be shortened and it will cease the traffic congestion. Earlier, citizens in these areas used to face a lot of difficulties in commuting due to railway crossing gates.
