The second day of the monsoon session of the Maharashtra Legislative assembly began with discussions on the issue of the recent serial blasts that rocked Mumbai on 13th July 2011. While speaking about the triple blasts, leader of opposition Eknath Khadse criticized the state Government’s policies on security.Shiv Sena MLAs demanded that prime accused and lone surviving terrorist in the 26/11 attacks on MumbaI, Ajmal Amir Kasab be hanged to death.Arguments between the state Government led to the session being adjourned for 10 minutes today.
