Maha CM directs DCs to ensure impact of third wave is minimal and production is not halted

<span style="color: black;">To minimize the impact of the third COVID wave on the economic cycle and industrial production in Maharashtra, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has asked the district collectors in the state to interact with the industries in their districts and make a thorough plan. The CM also directed them to take efforts to prevent a third wave.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">The Chief Minister also instructed the District Collector to increase the Corona RTPCR tests in the state and stop the crowds at tourist spots immediately.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">Chief minister Uddhav Thackeray today directed all district collectors in the state to chart out a plan to ensure the impact of the third wave is minimal and production is not halted.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">In an official meeting today, Mr. Thackeray said that arrangements for temporary field residence should be created for workers to ensure minimal movement.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">He suggested large companies should make arrangements for accommodation of their workers in the premises of their industries and small and medium industries can create a bio-bubble.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">The Chief Minister also directed to expedite the production of oxygen in order to generate 3,000 MT of oxygen per day in the state in any case.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">The CM reiterated that under no circumstances should public places be crowded, citizens walking on the streets should wear masks.He asked the concerned officials to declare the area where the number of patients is increasing strict adherence to corona prevention rules.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">For rural areas the CM asked the administration to focus on corona free village concept. The Chief Minister also instructed to follow genome sequencing if changes observed in Corona infection symptoms.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">He also appealed that even if one gets vaccinated, there is a need to strictly adhere to the Corona Prevention Rules, not just for now, but for the next one or two years, as suggested by the WHO.</span><br />
