Magnus Carlesen of Norway has retained the World Chess Championship Title. In Sochi, Russia, today, playing with White pieces, he defeated challenger and five-time champion Viswanathan Anand of India in the 11th game of the 12-game contest. Carlsen won the title by collecting Six and a Half points, while Anand had only four and a half points to his credit.
