The Madras High Court has decided to create 25 special courts in a phased manner in Tamil Nadu to deal with the land grab complaints. A press release by the Registrar General’s office of the High Court said, the High Court’s Administrative committee headed by the Chief Justice M.Y. Iqbal has accepted the reasons for constitution of special courts. Initially the Special courts would be set up in Tirunelveli, Krishnagiri, Salem, Erode and Tiruppur where more number of cases have been filed.
