The Madras High Court has asked the Tamil Nadu Government to regulate law education in the state by allowing only those who studied in regular stream.<br />''<br />''The case relates to a candidate who studied Plus Two and Degree through correspondence courses. His application to join for a law degree in regular stream was rejected for the same reason. He went to the High Court which said in its verdict today, there is no bar against the applicant from joining for the law degree in the present circumstances, if he is otherwise qualified.<br />''<br />''The court also said, it is essential to ensure quality in legal education and urged the state to bring regulations allowing only regular students.<br />
