Madras HC asks Tamilnadu, Puducherry Govts to impose lock down on 1st & 2nd May

<span style="color: #222222;">The Madras High Court has asked the Tamilnadu and Puducherry Governments to impose a lock down on the 1st and 2nd May.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Court told that the Government can announce its decision on the 28th of this month so that the public could take sufficient time to complete their provisions by Friday.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">It has also suggested the Government to allow only permitted vehicles for counting of votes and emergency services.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The first bench of the Madras High Court comprising of Chief Justice Sanjib Banerjee and Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy made the observations while hearing a suo motu plea initiated by the Court to check the preparedness of the State and the availability of Remdesvir, oxygen, ventilators and beds required to handle the second wave of Covid 19.</span><br />''  <br />
