In Madhya Pradesh, the responsibility of garbage collection from 187 panchayats of 465 villages adjoining the capital Bhopal will now be handed over to women. Every day 930 kg of plastic waste is generated from here. For this they will be paid Rs 14 to 20 per kg. Later this waste will be sent to Material Recovery Facilitation- FRF Centre. After processing here, the plastic will be given to the road making agencies. These agencies will make roads by mixing 10% plastic waste in the material. Bhopal Collector Avinash Lavania said that such an experiment is being done for the first time in the city under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.<br />
