Madhya Pradesh targets household tap connections in all rural areas under Jal Jeevan Mission by 2023

<span style="color: #222222;">Rural families of Madhya Pradesh will be provided with clean drinking water through tap connection. Approximately Rs. 197 crores have been approved in State government's rural tap water scheme.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Public Health Engineering Department is constructing water infrastructure so that rural families of Madhya Pradesh can be provided with clean drinking water through tap connection. A target has been set to complete the scheme in the rural areas of the entire state by year 2023 under the Jal Jivan Mission.<br />'' </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Public Health Engineering Department under retrofitting for rural tap water schemes in Jabalpur division Katni, Mandla, Balaghat, Dindori, Chhindwara, Seoni district and Rewa division of Rewa, Sidhi and Umaria and in Shahdol division shahdol, Anuppur, Singrauli district. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Approval of 196 crore 66 lakh 62 thousand rupees has been issued. Design and drawing of all these 213 water structures will be prepared. Action has been initiated by the field offices of all the districts included in the scheme.</span> <br />
