Madhya Pradesh: Home dept instructs district collectors to keep special watch on inter-state border

<span style="color: #222222;">In Madhya Pradesh, Home Department has instructed all district collectors to keep a special watch on inter-state border with a view to prevent corona infection. Similarly, instructions have been given to ensure tracing of all the people coming to the state. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan had also asked to execute them during the Corona review meeting.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Additional Chief Secretary Home SN Mishra has said in the instructions that it is necessary for the districts situated on the inter-state borders to continuously monitor the infection situation in the neighbouring districts. Measures should be taken to control the movement of people on the inter-state border. Arrangements have been made in many districts that people coming from the infection affected districts of neighbouring states report their arrival in the control room of that district. Mr Mishra has asked all the collectors to ensure strict adherence to this instruction.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The COVID-19 case count in Madhya Pradesh climbed to 21,082 with addition of 704 new cases in the last 24 hours. The death toll in the state has risen to 698. The state has 2,142 active containment zones. A total of387 persons were discharged from hospitals yesterday taking the number of the recovered cases to 14,514.</span><br />
