Madhya Pradesh govt seeks suggestions from public for increasing or decreasing lock-down period

<span style="color: #222222;">In Madhya Pradesh, in a first of its kind of initiative, the state government has sought suggestions from the public for increasing or decreasing lock-down period and opening of various sectors. Probably for the first time in the country, any state government is taking public opinion on the lock-down period.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">According to official information, suggestions have been invited by the state government to open various sectors including industry, agriculture, public transport, financial institutions, national parks, sports centers, recreation areas. For this, a page has also been made on the website of Madhya Pradesh government. The state government has also sought suggestions from various sections of society including ministers, public representatives, district collectors, political parties, religious leaders.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Ministers have also been asked to take feedback from the divisions under their charge. Time has been given to submit suggestions to everyone till today evening. On the basis of these suggestions, the state government will send its report to the center. The Prime Minister has also recently asked to propose by May 17 to increase or decrease the lock-down period in discussion with the Chief Ministers.</span><br />
