In Madhya Pradesh, the state government has decided to prepare a narcotics manual. A state level apex committee on drugs has decided to initiate more stringent steps to check illegal cultivation of opium in the state. Help of satellite pictures will also be taken in this connection. In order to make the younger generation aware of the dreadful consequences of consumption of intoxicant substances, a chapter on this subject will also be included in school curriculum.
