Madhya Pradesh: At least 12 people killed in bus accident in Guna district

<span style="color: #222222;">In Madhya Pradesh, at least 12 people were killed and 14 sustained severe burn injuries as a bus caught fire after colliding with a dumper in Guna district last night. The injured were rushed to the Guna district hospital for treatment.<br />'' </span><br />'' The ill-fated bus was on its way to Aaron, while the dumper was headed toward Guna when the accident occurred. Guna district's Superintendent of Police informed that there were around 30 passengers on the bus at the time of the incident, and four of them escaped any injuries. <br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In connection with the bus accident that took place last night in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today suspended Guna's District Regional Transport Officer Ravi Barelia and Guna's Chief Municipal Officer B.D. Katroliya. Chief Minister today visited the Government District Hospital of Guna, inquired about the well-being of the bus passengers injured in the accident and gave instructions to doctors for proper treatment. Dr Yadav said that every aspect of the accident will be investigated. Last night, seven kilometers away from Guna, a bus caught fire after a collision with a dumper, due to which 13 people died and 16 were injured.<br />'' <br />''</span>Taking action on the Guna accident in Madhya Pradesh, the state government has transferred Guna Collector Tarun Rathi and SP Vijay Kumar Khatri. Besides, the Principal Secretary of the Transport Department has also been transferred. Guna's District Regional Transport Officer and Chief Municipal Officer have been suspended for not delivering the fire brigade on time.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, a 4-member committee has been formed for an impartial investigation into the bus accident. The investigation committee will submit a report in 3 days on various aspects including investigation of the causes of the accident and the responsible departments. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that instructions have been given to take strict action against the culprits in the Guna accident. All collectors and superintendents of police have been asked to be cautious in case of vehicles driving without permit. In this regard, senior officials of the transport department have also been asked to take responsibility and take strict action.<br />
