In Madhya Pradesh, the state Assembly witnessed noisy scenes today as the main opposition Congress members demanded resignation of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh over the issue of corruption.Amidst din, the Speaker Ishwar Das Rohani first adjourned the proceedings of the House for ten minutes and then for the day. Later talking to media, Congress MLA Ajay Singh said that former Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavhan had tendered his resignation on the issue of corruption and there are talks of Karnataka CM’s resignation. Terming Shivraj Singh Chouhan case more serious, he said that a FIR had been registered against him and he is facing a Lokayukta probe. On the other hand, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh told media that it seems Congress members have no issue to discuss in the House and perhaps they are acting in this manner to please Congress high command.
