In Madhya Pradesh, the 68th Independence Day is being celebrated with patriotic fervor and gaiety.AIR correspondent reports that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan hoisted tricolor and inspected a parade in capital Bhopal. Addressing the gathering in the state level function at Motilal Nehru Stadium, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that a month long Agriculture Festival will be held from 25th September in the state to promote agricultural productivity.He said that Madhya Pradesh has become fastest growing state in the county by achieving growth rate of 11 per cent. The Independence Day is being celebrated at all the district headquarters and every nook and corner of the state. Different functions like freedom run, rallies, kavi sammelan and mushairas and other cultural activities are being organized to mark the occasion.
