Made in India Show to be organized in Dubai

To present India in consonance with its stature and progress and showcasing the emergence of country in 21st century all across its spectrum, a Made in India Show will be organized in Dubai from 8th to 10th June next month. <br/>This was announced by Indian Ambassador to UAE, Mr. M K Lokesh and Joint Secretary of Ministry of Commerce Mr. Sumanta Chaudhary in a joint press conference in Dubai. <br/>Speaking on the occasion Mr. Sumanta Chaudhary said that the primary objective of the show is to highlight the strength of India in various fields including manufacturing and services and underline India’s attractiveness as an investment destination. <br/>The event will also highlight India’s soft power like culture, cuisine and cinema. He added that Made in India Show is an event of the Ministry of Commerce and FIEO has been appointed as the Lead Agency to organize it. He said, the event will be inaugurated by Commerce and Industry Minister Mr. Anand Sharma while similar events have been planned to be organised across the globe in future.<br/>The Secretary General FIEO, G P Upadhyay who was present on the occasion said that the show aims to serve investors and buyers in the greater Middle East North Africa (MENA) region looking for international-quality products and services from India. <br/>The show will take place on all the three days (8-10 June) where business federations, people investment houses from UAE, Middle East and North African (MENA) countries shall be invited to establish business tie-ups with their Indian counterparts.<br/>Consul General of India Mr. Sanjay Verma was also present in the press conference. <br/>
