Vocational, industrial and technical training facilities will soon be made available in Madarsas across the country. The Union Labour and Employment Ministry has send a letter to the State governments asking them to start these training programmes in Madarsas on the pattern of Industrial Training Institutes. Official sources said, this will facilitate proper utilization of the infrastructure facilities of Madarsas along with providing better job opportunities for the students in these institutions. AIR correspondent reports, the government has launched a multi pronged strategy to provide modern education to the minority community students studying at Madrasas apart from providing them better loan facilities to start income generating units. The plan is being implemented under the Skill Development Initiative programme of the Central government. <br/>
