In Kerala, arrested PDP chairman Abdul Nasser Madani has been brought to Thiruvananthapuram airport from Anvarasseri, Kollam under tight security. Madani will be flown to Bangalore by the Karnakta police that has arrested him in connection with Bangalore serial bomb blast of 2008.Earlier during the day, as the arrest warrant issued by a Karnatak court against him was to expire today, Madani had disclosed in a press conference that he was ready to surrender before a local court.However, amid tight security and mounting tension he was arrested by the Karnataka Police personnel who were camping at Kollam for a week. Meanwhile, PDP has decided to observe black day tomorrow.AIR correspondent reports, finally after week-long uncertainty and political drama PDP Chairman Abdul Nasser Madani was arrested at Anvarsseri in Kollam this afternoon. It all happened in very quick pace. Ignoring Madani's willingness to surrender before a local court Kartanaka police arrested him within no time.Maximum secuirty was provided by the Kerala police in and around Anvarasseri to avoid any untoward incident. At the airport Madani said that Karnataka police has framed false charges against him . The LDF government of Kerala has been facing considerable criticism for the delay in executing the arrest. The case and related developments has attracted tremendous media focus as well.
