P V Sindhu and H S Prannoy have entered the quarterfinals of the Singles events of the Macau Grand Prix Gold badminton tournament. In the Women's singles, World Number Eleven Sindhu prevailed over Indonesia's Lindaweni Fanetri in three games 21-16 16-21 21-19. In the quarterfinal, Sindhu will take on Li Han of China. In the men's singles, Prannoy defeated Lin Yu-Hsien of Chinese Taipei also in three games 17-21 21-19 21-14. He will now face Sony Dwi Kuncoro of Indonesia, who had beaten India's B. Sai Praneeth 21-16 19-21 21-17.
