In Chennai, DMK treasurer MK Stalin has been elevated as the party 'working president' by its General Body. The highest decision making body of the Dravidian party met today to amend its bye-law to create the post and accommodate Mr Stalin. Its unanimous decision comes in the backdrop of his father and nonagenarian leader M.Karunanidhi not keeping well. He could not attend today's crucial meeting, which was chaired by its General Secretary K.Anbalagan. <br/><br/>Mr Stalin in his acceptance speech recalled his long association with the party activities in various capacities and said he accepted the post with heavy heart as the party president is not well. He assured that he would function in the new capacity with the guidance of his father and other senior leaders in the party.
