<span style="color: #222222;">Jammu & Kashmir Principal Secretary (Industries and Commerce) MK Dwivedi has called for effective implementation of employment generation schemes of Khadi Village and Industries Board, especially for uplifting the weaker sections of the society.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Principal Secretary was speaking at a meeting of Project Screening Committee of the 'Scheme of Funds for Regeneration of Traditional Industries' (SFURTI), in Jammu yesterday.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />''The Committee cleared four SFURTI cluster proposals, involving project cost of 11.93 crore rupees which will cover around 3000 artisans. The Principal Secretary directed the KVIB for implementation of SFURTI programme in J&K, to explore the possibility of establishing cluster for Basholi Painting Art, Bamboo works, herbal and aromatic products in Jammu region. He also suggested for establishing at least one cluster in each district of the UT to enable the artisans and workers associated with the traditional and village industries to reinforce their income and market their products.</span><br />
