Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said that the Left Wing Extremism are anti-development and anti- democratic and it has to be tackled jointly by the sates . Speaking at the 22nd Eastern Zonal Council meeting at Ranchi today, he added that Union government is making all out efforts for infrastructure development and socio-economic upliftment of the people.<br/><br/>Union Home Minister also said that Central government is committed to further strengthen the Zonal Councils and Inter State Councils and five meetings of Zonal Councils and it's Standing Committee were held in 2015, after a long gap. <br/><br/>The meeting was attended by Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Raghuwar Das, Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, Finance Minister of Odisha Pradip Kumar Amat and Minister for Planning of West Bengal Asis Banarjee.
