<span style="color: #222222;">The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Tajikistan and &nbsp;Kazakhstan on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Supreme Audit Institutions (SCO SAI) Leaders' meeting in Lucknow today.<br />''<br />'' The agreements are aimed at strengthening cooperation and facilitating the exchange of expertise in the field of auditing. The MoUs will also provide a platform for the exchange of auditing professionals and technical teams, collaboration in training programs, and mutual assistance in conducting audits. The agreements are a step forward in promoting closer ties and collaboration among the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of the three nations.<br />''&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<br />''One MoU was signed with Karakhon Chillazoda, Chairman, Accounts Chamber of Commerce, Tajikistan while the other one was inked with Natalya Godunova, Chairperson of the Supreme Audit Chamber of Kazakhstan.<br />''&nbsp; &nbsp;<br />''&nbsp;Speaking on the occasion, CAG Girish Chandra Murmu said that signing the Memoranda of Understanding was a reaffirmation of the values and goals that India shares with Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, and cementing of the existing ties.<br />''<br />'' He said the SAIs are committed to cooperating within their areas of competence to enhance and improve their respective external audit practices. He added that the cooperation will encompass the exchange of experiences in methodologies and procedures, joint efforts in professional training and personnel development, and sharing of information and the best practices through workshops, conferences, and technical meetings.</span><br />
