A group of 20 people believed to be LTTE suspects who were arrested under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA) has been released on the advice of the Attorney General's Department after it was concluded there was a lack of evidence against them. Speaking to AIR, Commissioner of Prisons De Siva said that twenty six such people arrested under the PTA were released earlier last month.<br/>
